At the end of the genius action of Andreas N. to get some clocks (so called Nebenstellenuhr) a couple of them reached some of our friends in this region (Brunswick, Germany). What a pity, using them only on FREMO meetings. So the question arrised: "Are You developing something?:-))" OK, I couldn't withstand.
At the end of some discussion, it got obviuose: The ultimative FREMO-Super-Clock needs a PCB in the 15" class at the cost of a highprice modell loco.
On the other hand there was the requirement: "Please something without a PC!" With these things in mind, i decided:
A modular design in hard- and software is the best solution: A simple coresystem on a separate PCB with an interface based on TWI / I2C. All special functions are placed on their own PCB.
Now we are able, to build up almost any interface or special function while keeping the coresystem simple and cheap.
The coresystem has the following basic features:
They will be developed, on demand, adequate priority and sufficient time left
Yes: There will be PCB, when we are raedy with developement. Price: please ask.
17-May-2007: First Version of hardware and software released. more information: Coresystem
